My name is Chase Replogle. I’m a pastor at Bent Oak Church and a writer.
For a long time, I’ve wrestled with how those two callings piece together. It’s easy to find advice on writing, much of it technical recommendations on building a platform or tips on getting published. It’s just as easy to find pastoral role models with blogs on leadership, church growth, and volunteer strategies. What is missing is an honest and contemplative look behind the scenes at how pastors and authors approach writing Christian non-fiction—how for some, the role of pastor intersects with a call to write.
This podcast is my journey to better understand the unique vocation of the pastor writer. Join me as I interview pastors, authors, and writing experts to better understand the calling and craft of writing.
