Ryan Lokkesmoe is a church planter and author. His book, Paul and His Team, uncovers the earliest images of leadership and influence in the work of the Apostle Paul and other early church figures that did ministry with him.

Ryan, who holds a Ph.D. in Biblical studies, discusses making the transition from academic writing to popular Christian nonfiction. We also discuss how pastors can better handle influence, platform, and the gifts they each possess.

I share more personally in this book than anything I’ve ever written. Some people write and publish faster, but books usually represent at least 2 to 3 years of work for me.
