I have recently been reading Russ’ book, The Mission of the Body of Christ, as a study aid in my preaching of Acts. The book is a part of Russ’ Retailing the Story series, a three-part compilation that narrates the major movements of scripture. Russ’ writing carries a distinct voice and it’s clear his passion for words.
In our conversation, we talk about how a writer’s voice develops and how Russ’ love of art and music has influenced him as a writer.
